Yes, the growth has been really strong and we are very happy with the growth.
What do you find is the most challenging aspect of running a web hosting company?
The most challenging aspect is keeping every client happy.
As President of a growing Hosting company, what is the one thing that keeps you up at night?
Running a hosting company takes a lot of hours, keeping everyone happy is a full time job.
On the other hand, what is the one thing that makes you jump out of bed in the morning?
Getting back to work, it's a new day and I always have stuff that needs to be done.
Your company offers everything from budget hosting to reseller hosting to dedicated servers. Do you find it hard to compete with hosting companies that focus on just one area?
No, we offer very competitive pricing from our shared hosting plans to our dedicated servers plus top of the line support.
Do you have plans to broaden your product offerings?
At this point in time we are just focusing on what we have running now, but I'm sure in the near future that we will
Considering budget hosting, dedicated servers, reselling, windows hosting, co-location servers, etc., where do you see the biggest growth areas in the hosting industry over the next couple years?
Well demands is always changing and I really don't see one area growing vastly compared to the other over the next few years.
What is your company's advertising and marketing focus? Do you advertise most locally or online? Do you target Canada and North America?
All of our advertising is done online, this was we can reach a larger potential client base. Our general focus is on North America.
Can you briefly tell us how you got started and the background of the company?
PenguinHost has been in business since 1998 serving over 20,000 customers worldwide. Our headquarters are based in the high-tech city of Reno, Nevada. We are a privately owned company that has shown a profit for the last 4 1/2 years since we have been in business. Our success is due to our high level of equipment, service and support that we are committed to maintaining.
What unique skills do you bring as President that has contributed to your fast success?
You need keen business skills to succeed with all the competition in the hosting industry these days, what has contributed to my success has been my will to keep going and determination to be the best.
Do you have any plans to venture into the budget windows market?
At this point we do not have any plans of venturing into the windows market, Windows has security issues that we do not want to get involved in at the moment.
